Both Elzaam and Dandilion have top class Stallion Danehill in their pedigree as Redoutes Choice is by Danehill as is Mozart Dandy Man‘s sire. This means our filly is related to some very high class horses including Dylan Thomas, Rock Of Gibraltar, George Washington, Holy Roman Emperor. She’s also related to Derby winner North Light and Frankel’s dam Kind.

There are winners all the way through her page in Europe, America and Australia with numerous stakes race winners. She has been described as very sharpe athletic horse with plenty of speed.

 

Elzaam has started life at stud with great success he has a 12% strike rate with his 2yo’s and an overall 10% with runners of all ages.

There is plenty to be excited about with this filly for 2024 and beyond.

Our yearling by Ravens Pass

Ravens Pass - Samstar

This well bred Filly is by Breeders Cup Classic winner Raven’s Pass, who also won the St James Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot and the Celebration Mile at Goodwood, he’s out of a Gone West mare Elusive Quality. Her Dam Samstar is by Nathaniel by a Choisir mare Gossamer Seed. Her Dam is by Nathaniel who is by Galileo.

 

She’s also related to group horses on this side of her pedigree, these include multiple group 1 winner Enable, Derby winner Desert Crown, Goodwood Cup and Ebor Handicap winner Quickthorn and Nassau Stakes winner Lady Bowthorpe.

 

Raven’s Pass has proved to be a very versatile stallion with his offspring winning over a wide variety of distances. He has a 14% strike rate with his 2yo’s and an overall strike rate of 12%, he has an average rate of 12% of winners from between 5 and 12 furlongs and even has a 10% rate over hurdles. This filly is a nice strong stamp of a horse, with her pedigree she should be a nice middle distance horse in the making.
